Sisters and Inquisition
« on: December 20, 2013, 05:59:33 PM »
Here's a different list.  Going for a heavy assault with lots of dakka... I'm surprised how much I could fit in this list.

The Inquisition

Corteaz
Goes with Assault Warband in Landraider Crusader
Warband x10 - 175
Crusaderx4 Death Cult Assassinx4 Ministorum Priest w/ Eviscerator
Land Raider Crusader - Storm Bolter Psybolt Ammunition - 265
Runs up and smashes things
Warband x12 - 86
Psykerx7 Acolytex4
Sits in Aegis line and blasts things
Land Raider - Multimelta - 260
Big annoying fire power

Sisters of Battle

Canoness - 95
Blade of Admonition
Ministorum Priest
Battle Sister Squad x15 - 180
All go together and march up the middle
Battle Sister Squad x6 - 72
Mans the quadgun
Battle Sister Squad x9 - 163
Flamer Heavy Flamer Rhino
Sneaks up behind the Crusader and grabs an objective.  Maybe change weapons?
Repentia Squad x7 - 153
Rhino
Sneaks up behind Land Raider
Dominion Squad x6 - 168
Melta Gunx3 Immolator
Outflanks and blows something up.  Immolator heavy flamers burninator something.
Aegis Line
Quad Gun

71 models
1842 points.

This is really rough, but I like the concept of having a big mash of stuff running up the field and having lots of stuff to shoot as well.

Let me know what you all think!
One sure mark of a fool is to dismiss anything that falls outside of his experience as being impossible.

My comments in red.

Le sigh... coatacheese. Wrong Chamber Militant too, but that's just me being quibbly
Warband x10 - 175
Crusaderx4 Death Cult Assassinx4 Ministorum Priest w/ Eviscerator
Land Raider Crusader - Storm Bolter Psybolt Ammunition - 265
Runs up and smashes things
Looks fine to me
Warband x12 - 86
Psykerx7 Acolytex4
Sits in Aegis line and blasts things
Not sold on the Psykers myself.
Land Raider - Multimelta - 260
Big annoying fire power
Also hideously expensive and probably not doing a whole lot. You can almost get 2 Exorcists for the same price

Sisters of Battle

Canoness - 95
Blade of Admonition
Ministorum Priest
Battle Sister Squad x15 - 180
All go together and march up the middle
Battle Sister Squad x6 - 72
Mans the quadgun
It's twin-linked, might as well give one of the Acolytes above something to do
Battle Sister Squad x9 - 163
Flamer Heavy Flamer Rhino
Sneaks up behind the Crusader and grabs an objective.  Maybe change weapons?
While I'm not seeing a whole lot things to kill MCs (you're going to see more Carnifexes and Hive Tyrants in the new Tyranid codex), maybe melta/heavy flamer?
Repentia Squad x7 - 153
Rhino
Sneaks up behind Land Raider
Still not worth it IMHO. Replace it with a Ecclesiarchial battle conclave of deathcult/crusader/priest (with Eviscerator action)
Dominion Squad x6 - 168
Melta Gunx3 Immolator
Outflanks and blows something up.  Immolator heavy flamers burninator something.
I've had some luck with 2x Flamer 2x Meltagun in a rhino. Makes them fairly all-purpose burny
Aegis Line
Quad Gun

71 models
1842 points.

I also tend to prefer Seraphim bouncing around to burninate. Definitely consider a Exorcist or two in lieu of a Land Raider -- they are nice for the price.
PAINT ALL THE MODELS!
