i was wondering if i should buy the necron army set it costs only 300$ (canadian) and its way cheaper then buying them seperatly should i buy it or not?

If you think you will eventually use all the models I'd say yes.

actually, if your looking to get to 1700pts you might even want to think about getting 2 of them.  You'll use all the models (with the possible exception of Tomb Spyders, but that's up to you)

300$  What a rip off. In sweden it only costs 150$
Why do you want to buy a Atmy deal? It much cheaper to buy small packages.

big deal you only save about 10-20 dollars but its better buying it seperately that way you get exactly what you want.  For example i didnt want the lord on foot so i got the destroyer one and i probably wouldnt use half the stuff in there.
