Topic: need help with a 750-1000 point list

Hey all....

I was thinking of starting necrons, even if it's just a small force to begin with (anyway I don't usually play games over 1500).
So I'd appreciate suggestions for a 750-1000 army list that includes a necron lord w/ destroyer body and a heavy destroyer (I got them from a friend who was gonna start necrons but gave up).

get a good, solid base of warriors, about 30 should be good, also lots of scarabs. you need a necron lord with a res.orb to stop high strength weapons killing all your warriors outright. with any left over point i would get some heavy destroyers to take out any big weapons.

30 Warriors, and 1 Lord = 750Pts
33 Warriors, a Lord w/ destroyer body + another lord = 1004pts
25 Warriors, a Lord, 6 Destroyers and 1 Wraith = 1001pts
25 Warriors, a Lord, 8 wraiths = 988pts
25 Warriors, a Lord, 5 Heavy Destroyers = 985pts.

Here are some ideas. Personally i use 30 warriors and 2-210pts lords for a 1k game and less. But do what you feel like.
