Cool, hoping to get a box of the new warriors next week.

I finished painting the third Venom:

triplets!

I am very very happy with how these three have come out; they have been the most extensive vehicle conversion I've ever carried out and I think I've managed to make them fit with the new DE vibe whilst tying them to my old DE minis and scheme.

I was overjoyed the other night when twitter informed me that the next DE wave was up for advance order. Especially since they come out 10 days after my birthday, when I should still have some money :)

I'm definitely getting two boxes of scourges asap as they are stunning IMO.
I'll also probably get one Venom and do an HQ transport with it. I don't like the model enough to replace the three I've made. Which is a good thing tbh.

so thoughts? comments? criticisms?

A.

Cool conversions, I find them pretty similar to the new version, a bit like you said, old conversions, but they'll fit in nicely. Not a fan of tiny fragile vehicles, but as far as modelling, they're only a joy to work on.

Eventually you can always make some minor modifications, like my old beast master, I wanted him on a board, but he was painted, no problem, I tried to keep as much intact as possible.
The Dark Moon Kabal ,possibly the biggest DE army ever!

Added some new picks of one of my reavers, looking forward to finish the squad.

That is a very nice paint scheme. I hope will see more of your army soon.

Btw, what range is the miniature from?

It's reaper's... Found it in a painting contest and couldn't resist to buy it.

Most of my army is still in repaint job, but I'll post more links as soon as their finished.

Thanks for the comment, Cheers.

Looks pretty nice. Blue seems pretty bright and contrasts with the black part. I've always liked bright colored dark eldar. Everyone thinks that the name must match the color...

First of all, I love seeing all these miniatures, keep up the good work ^^

I've posted my very first model here months ago, a kabalite warrior, and I figured could just as well post my progress :) Decided to call my army the Kabal of the Crimson-Edged Stars, referring to the amount of bloodshed displayed when they raid realspace. I still need a name for a coven though, unfortunatly.. Anyways, I'm pretty happy with the results, hope you all like it too :)

Superb!  I really must get myself some of the new minis.  The red edging on your paint work really makes them stand out.

Color Scheme looks pretty good, but it would look better if you'd define a little more the plates separations with the yellow color. It takes a little practice but It will definetly look awesome when achieved.

Here's my Talos I painted the other day. My Kabal is The Sufferthorn Gang, and rather than work as a normal Kabal they are in the employ of a Haemonculi Coven. Though I haven't named my Coven yet.

So here's the Talos:

Here's my counts-as Duke Sliscus: Lady Nonameyet of the Unnamed Corsairs. Gotta work on the names.  ::)

Simple conversion, old warrior body, new head, new weapon arms, cape, and a trophy rack. There's even a holstered blast pistol on her back too. She'll have some Trueborn buddies to back her up.

Always loved the "pimp my ride show" but I really don't like it on 40k minis so much... Still your work's amazing man.

Ah but the difference is no over-sized wheels or screens on the outside for the other pilots to watch. Like I said in the razorwing post, this was really not my intention but its what came out. It was stated in the other post by someone that rich DE own these things and show pride in them so....and I love your pimp my ride ref. Thanks

Not really, only the cloth was made of green stuff. The body was mostly put together right from the warrior box ( provided I cut the legs a little bit)
