Practise dummies for painting?
« on: October 29, 2019, 07:18:02 PM »
What do people use to practise different painting technics on?

I've used the supercheap green army men, but I want to play around with some sword effects. Any one found super cheap swords?

You cooouuuld, buy a solo Quicksilver Sword Endless spell. It is around $10 USD on ebay, but you do actually get a fair amount of swords to work with!

As for training dummies, I actually just use the models I'm painting... guess I'm fortunate most of them turn out okay lol. Buut, I definitely ruined Durthu this way, so I cannot really advise it lol.

Yeah, I've had my fill of trying to recover models, so looking for something super cheap so I can just toss it.
