binding, acrylic paints on mdf board. its actually a pretty small block, its shown here larger than 100%!!!

yea, one of the figures in that piece really struck me. odd, really, in a farily large and detailed artwork piece, i get embroiled in one particular bit of it!

It is very nice. Has a certain darkness feel to it.

It looks like something I would like to have hanging on my wall. Very cool piece!  8)

Cherubal. . . . . XD My favo demon of 40k ^^.

At least. If you took the image from the DH codex then tis cherubal. Pretty nifty demonhost imo killed a titan within 5 seconds. . . A well looks great keep up the good work (Y)

no, its not cherubal. the source of inspiration for this was a much larger image, but it wasnt one of cherubal. this image has been adapted from that, taking the elements that i enjoyed from it and using it to practice tonal painting.

thanks for the complements guys!

it would be a great pic for a wall, except for one tiny flaw in the plan. the painting can be easily held in the palm of my hand! like all those famous paintings you see images of, and when you actually go and see them in "person" they are tiny! it might look a bit funny on my wall!  :D
