Title: Banshee models?
Post by: ChainAxe Enthusiast on January 18, 2021, 04:01:30 PM
I've yet to assemble and paint the new banshee models I have as I already have plenty of failcast ones.  Do they look as goofy as the pictures show them to be, because to me the old banshees look far better, is this just bad photography or am I right?

Do they look better in real life than their pictures?

The new ones look good in real life, but its not a significant difference. If you _like_ painting then they will be more enjoyable than failcast ;)

I'm a fan of the fact they come with bare heads to signify them as Ynnari, I hope to see this as something for future Aledari releases and give the Ynnari more of a model line (and just give some options). But yeah, they are so much nicer to paint than Metal or Resin, and are smoother and have sharper details then the older kit.
