looking great. Have you just not finished painting one of the Gryphs fur yet? I like that they are not exactly the same fur colour.

Great stuff, Myen, very creative use of blended colors. Good luck with more stuff out there.

Have you applied some sort of weathering to the armor, or are my eyes deceiving me?

Thanks, guys!

Have you applied some sort of weathering to the armor, or are my eyes deceiving me?

So first I applied a black wash, not thinned at all - which turned out a bit heavy.

Went back and layered  up the armor. Then did a wash of carroburg crimson, let it dry, then followed with Druchii violet, out of the pot, but applied carefully. That's probably what created the effect.

It's already looking really good.  The yellow, in particularly, is very well done.  It's never an easy colour to paint, so I hope that you are pleased with the result :).
You haunt my in-box like an ex-girl friend could only dream of.

Thanks Irisado! Yeah, I'm pretty happy with the result, been working on the model all morning and made some more progress!

Your reinforcements are coming along great Myen'Tal. That's some psychic goodness you've got going on there in the corner. Very interested to see how Eldrad comes out in yellow as opposed to his traditional colour scheme of black and bone. I see the banshees have been sprayed more of a bone colour. Are you aiming for more traditional aspect colouring or tying them into the Iyanden theme? Those deepkin models look gnarly. The one with the shield is very Atalantian and I love that they come with stylized bases. Keep up the good work!
