2500 Mech Storm Troopers w/ DH allies

I posted my orginal list over in the IG section, but now I have modified it and have included quite a few DH allies (500+ pts worth), so I thought I'd post it here and get some feedback from those who play DH... obviously I am trying to maximize my weak points by going for al 4+ saves or better and having lots of HWs, but still throwing in some decent CC elements (CS= JO/w HI and PF and Commie w/ PF and 4 x Meltaguns... good for counterassault I figure;  also, 7x DSing  GK Termies for dropping on my enemies when they aren't expecting it, especially from an IG force).

Perhaps all this is a bit cheesy, but trying to make the list both cool visually and competitive, so appreciate constructive feedback:

Some thoughts..

The command squad,
Loose the stormbolters on the characters; while a pistol does half as many shots you'll effectively loose a combat attack each round with the powerfists. Considering that powerfists are expensive you might as well try to get your money's worth out of them.

Also you might like to try arming the bodyguard with four flamers. Its acatually really effective anti-horde abiilty (espesially if you try to 'trick' the enemy into bunching up by assaulting a fastmoving heavy vehicle before you pounce).
The other advantage of this swap is that it hides that these are the only guys in the army with BS3.

Veterans; the untis are too small. CP armour is nice and all but it doesn't stop a lot of damage, you've only got one disposable model in each unit before you start taking off expensive ones with shiny toys. I'd be inclinded to drop the stormbolter for a boltgun and bying an extra vet to each unit.
Remember that the carapace armour costs the same no matter how many are in the unit so making the units bigger means you get more for your bucks, I find 8 strong to be a decently resilient unit without being too expensive.

Stormtroopers in tanks! Awesome, I do the same in my army (I assume that one is a INQ allied unit?)
What I think you should do is upgrade the IG stormies with meltas to have sarges with plasmapistols. Its not a vast expenditure and increases the 'good' firepower by almost a third. Don't bother with vets in the INQ unit, they cost much more and aren't worth it.
Plasmaguns are fun too (a sarge with bolter and plasmapistol fits with them well) so a unit of those might not be a bad idea.
Also consdiering your enthusiasm on stormbolters I'm surpised that a few haven't turned up in the grenade launcher units.

With the chimeras, you might want to look at giving one a hull mounted heavy flamer. Obviously for the ones that are closing with the enemy it can be a really nasty surprise for people to decide to ignore the empty transport vehicle.
Hellhounds are great, as is a basilisk.

Demolishers are more of a tool than a battletank, they're specialised bits of kit and I generally wouldn't suggest fielding more than one. I'd probably be tempted to lose one for a regular flavour russ with three heavy bolters. Its mobile and has excelent threat range, plus the points saved can make up some of those other changes I mentioned.

Good points all... especially with regard to the Flamers in my HQ (like you say,t he only BS3, but they make it irrelevant ;) ) and also about increasing numbers of HVs... I originally had more, but was trying to shave points for the GK Termies... honestly, I might end up canning the Termies and using the 330 pts to pump up the rest of my force... IG is used to fighting without CC specialists, so I can probably make do. As for, the x2 Demolshers, well, at the 2500 pt level, I figure I had better have some redundancy, even with F14/S13/R11 armor, since my opponent is bound to have a lot of Heavy AV, especially if he knows he is up against a Guard army.
