Title: A Few Changes to The Forum and Forum Rules - Please Read
Post by: Irisado on January 30, 2022, 08:28:25 AM
This is a small administration update from the Staff here at 40K Online.

The first change concerns how rumours are handled from now on.  Owing to the way in which GW now manages its upcoming releases and tends to preview a lot more of its own material than previously, it has been decided to archive the Rumours board.  From now on, all discussions about GW forthcoming releases and speculation associated with these releases should be discussed in the appropriate army-specific board or General 40K if it relates to the game as whole (e.g. edition or rules updates).  If anyone does have any genuine rumours, please feel free to post such a topic in the relevant army-specific board.

The second change concerns the board descriptions on the forum.  These have been updated to reflect the changes that have been made in recent years.  The aim is to enhance clarity and to make it more obvious what each board is for.  If anyone spots any mistakes, please let me know.

The third and final change concerns our policy on 3D printing.  Please do not make any requests for, or post links to, 3D printing sites that are clearly showcasing models to substitute GW's model range.  GW's legal team is clamping down on such sites and 3D printing groups and we need to ensure that this forum remains safe.  The forum rules on copyright have been updated to reflect this change.

Thank you for taking the time to read this announcement and wishing you all a happier gaming year :).
