Title: Possessed bomb

Hey guys, I'm new here and pretty new to the game. I'm working up a 2,000 point army that mostly revolves around a detachment of Word Bearers with 3 Vindicators pushing up the board with a Master of Possession and probably 20 Possessed. A spearhead detachment of Iron Warriors with two units of Havocs and four Obliterators (probably covered by cultists for the Cannon Fodder strategem) to lay down some hate. The rest of the points will be thrown into more Word Bearers marines to hold objectives and screen until the Possessed bomb hits.

Also, I see that in the new Death Guard codex, Possessed attacks went from d3 to 4 so do you think that will change for the rest as well?

Welcome to the board.  That does sound like a fun army to play.


For the rules change, I'd expect Chaos Space marine  possessed will get similar changes when their 9th edition codex comes out. Along with the 2nd wound.
