it is said that 40K is war in the 41st century...but that would only be 4,000...since we are in the 21st century and it only 2002...so what up wit dat?

it is acctualy the year 995-999 in the 41 millenium.
It is called 40k beacouse it is almost exactly 4000 years into the future.

Considering GW is a hobby that prides itself in its literature aswell as the more visually orientated aspects of art, its pretty disappointing to see topics of this nature posted up.
