I agree with Looshkin, it's a clean balance you pull off with your avatar.

Sylvanth is just the coolest AoS army and I will not hear otherwise! The modes are just way too beslubbering good and cool. For plastic bits with some paint, they give this feeling of living wood absolutely brilliantly.

Also are you telling me you painted all of these aeldary's in the time it took me to paint 5 tau guy's? What kind of insane pace is this xD. You are insanely fast! Keep up the good work :D

@looshkin & grizzlykin

Thank you guys!

I guess I just end up devoting a good amount of time each to weekend to make some headway. Airbrushing helps speed up the priming phase a lot too!

The avatar looks great, the jet black hair and cloth makes it stand out.

The sylvaneth look awesome, love how you used some flocking on the models itself :)

Thanks, Mage!

None of the Sylvaneth were painted by me (yet) - came with the trade  :).

Now this bad boi, I am painting from scratch!

the skin tones and hair look great, but for some reason I'm really liking the creepy ground cover, the vines and flower things are a stand out to me well done :)

Thanks, Mage, still working on it - but I'm glad you like the ground cover! Wanted to try and do something different with it  :).

Working on this guy too.

Good old simple red and white. Really a tried and tested combination.

What is this deity looking thing! The model his awesome and your paint work, just sell the godly feeling on it pretty damn well. Keep it up :D

Thank you, Grizzlykin! Yeah, I'm really feeling the traditional Saim-Hann red and white instead of spending a lot of trial and error making my own scheme.

That unit is an Arch-Revenant - still working on him! Going to start painting some new sylvaneth here after some good new reveals for their faction.

Is it me or does the new ranger kit kinda feels like skitariis, the cloak shape just give me that vibes. I am ashamed to be an eldar player and say that xD but that's the feeling I'm getting.

That said sylvaneth is just the coolest AOS army and I will not accept otherwise that bad boy at the back is looking mighty fine, this is gonna be fun to watch, really looking forward to what you do with these!

Hi Grizzly,

Yeah - the ranger and the skitarri kit do have some similarities - that's true. I think it's the fact both units have cloaks, rifles, and an inhumanly slender silhouette.

Yeah I'm loving painting and building the Sylvaneth so far!

More progress:

Oooooh, are you going for charred/burned/corrupted Wood kinda vibe on these ones? Or am I the one smoking here instead of your models? (Is it my phone trolling me)

Well even if I'm wrong this is looking good. Good luck with the rest :D

That's in the general vicinity - I'm going for a winter theme here  :D !

Speaking of which - he's about finished - will post again when I've finished the base.

Went ahead and based this bad boi. Still needs some details and maybe a few more highlights.

Need to clean the rim too, always sticks out when I base this way lol.

Niceeeeeeee, is this Arch-Revenant or what not, is he some kind of herald of fall?

There is this really cool effect on your base as if the place he walk over wither and fall, as if in front it's lush green, and after a few steps of his only fallen leaves are on the ground, I don't know if it was intentional, and I bet it was, but this looks really cool.

So the concept behind Warsong Revenants (not an Arch-Revenant, my bad) bring life wherever they travel, singing the spirit song that soothes the sylvaneth and is bane to others.

And thank you for the kind words  :).

What do you think about the new Sylvaneth models coming out?

Hi Godspeed,

I'm really liking the new models to be honest! Especially, that Lady of Vines!

Gossamid Archers maybe my least favorite, but I still like that Sylvaneth have archers and I think they're design is solid.

Also loving the fact that Sylvaneth got eel-level shock cavalry, but I'm really wanting to see some of the models in person.

Turning back to my guardians for the moment. Also began working on the Treelord Ancient.
