Hey guys.

Thanks a lot for the compliments. Means a lot because I am still relatively new to painting but we are working on it. I am one of those super acute, learn before I attempt type of people. I watch a lot of youtube videos.

The shading on this plane was so easy. I just primed it white with a spray can and then shaded all the darker spots with black and just taking it easy on the airbrush you can almost pump out a fine grey as well to help blend the black to white. Then I go over it with a hard coat of GW green. After that I use the next highlight green to just work up the color and then after that I use an even lighter green with a mixture of white on the very edges of where the light would hit it most. And then it's a final hard brush highlight with pure white. Really makes it pop.

A new pic in better lighting so you can see the blue/green color better. It got washed out in the last pic.

Ahah i like that mentality ! Well in all honesty your painting are top notch so what ever you paint should be amazing on the table top.

So I have been really looking forward to fitting this model together. He's fully magnetized. Only the base paints down for now. All the details to come in the next week.

Slow painting lately, bit busy and Skyrim grabbed me again.

I've had the game for years but I just clicked on it the other week and since then I've been immersed in the story hahaha.

Atm I am playing a pure arcane-mage. Total destruction and conjuration. I've gone with Breton for their resistance to magic.

I'm sitting at level 19 atm.

Thief/ranger with emphasis on furtivity and pickpocketing ^^ Dual wielding sword + dagger, light armor, and bow when not too close:)

khajit for the original boost in furtivity and other stat you get at the beginning, and it's a beslubbering cat ><

I believe i am lvl 62 but it's been so long since i could play that it might not be this ^^

That's great. I haven't really played in months myself. I recently put it in and took my warrior up to lvl 70. I have a bunch of armor, weapons, blah, blah. Now I want to play it again, haha. Got X-wing going great guns right now tho, our league is in week 3 right now. 40k is on hiatus for now, trying to paint not not succeeding very well. Can't wait to see more of your army as you get it done. Beautiful colors btw, again.

Just another little update. I enjoy the gradual progress so people can see painting process.

This is my Wraithlord to date. Have spent about 40 minutes on him so far so he has all his details to go.

I really like the blending on this model atm. It's really strong and the contrast is really stark. I'm glad I'm happy with the paint because the Wraithlord model is my favorite model in all of Eldar.

Looks killer! That plastic Wraithlord is really one of the best kits GW has ever put out... such a joy to paint and yours is coming out great. Can't wait to see him with his weapons load-out. Keep it up!
