Looking for ideas on dealing with 40k flier stands
« on: April 16, 2020, 08:15:14 PM »
So the giant clear stand that holds up out fliers like the crimson hunter. I've tried a few base designs but having to cater for the giant cross foot print just makes them look... meh..

I've seen some people side mount them on terrain, which looks cool as, but I'm sure is a nightmare to transport.

Has anyone come up with alternatives?

I'll have to see if I can find it again, but seen some places magnetize them. Stronger stands and then with a good magnet to hold it - I'll post the link if / when I find it again

So, what your saying is it's not your fault you look stupid by using words you don't get?
Flawless logic.

They look like an interesting alternative to the stand itself. I was looking to see if any one has had a clever way to hide the stand itself, as having a giant cross sticking out of whatever basing material used, just makes it a eye sore. Maybe hiding it in some tree cover or rising smoke...
