The forum rules have been reviewed by the staff of the site and some changes were found to be in need.  Please find the adjusted rules here and please continue to enjoy our community responsibly.

As always, the moderation staff are here if you have any questions.

In an effort to make the wall of text easier to navigate here are some points of interest as to what has been changed:
  • Off topic discussions and how they are handled.
  • Reviving dead threads
  • Double-posting
  • Guidelines for posting new threads
  • Spam
  • Copyright infringement
  • Advertisement
  • plus some other minor tweaks where they were needed.

If there is anything that recent politics has taught us, it is that quotes taken out of context can mean what ever you want them to.

Hi there. There's something I'd like to point out regarding dead threads. When on mobile there's no date on any post. It's not until you hit reply that you get a warning that no one has posted in 30 days.  Shouldnt there be dates so mobile users aren't temped to revive long dead topics?
One sure mark of a fool is to dismiss anything that falls outside of his experience as being impossible.

maybe...   but there is only so much space available on mobile view before it becomes "crowded with crap"

If you get the Long-time warning, then you can stop right there.... :P
