Rogue Trader Reprint PoD

Hey, I'm seriously considering getting the RT (ie. warhammer 1st ed, not the RPG) print on demand edition that GW is putting out. Mostly just for the novelty/curiosa aspect of it. Anyone else interested in it?

Definitely interested, but it's not listed on the Canadian website yet for some reason
If there is anything that recent politics has taught us, it is that quotes taken out of context can mean what ever you want them to.

I have an original (softback) copy that I found in a charity shop many years ago and its fantastic history piece if you like the background of 40K and how its evolved to where it is. Plus its got lots of cool artwork, in which a lot of ideas originate that become bigger themes in the 4Ok universe. Yet you can see how its sort of Lord of the Rings but in now its in outer space.

I never actually attempted to play the game. But its fun to flick though the pure imagination and wackyness of the options they put into it.

Is it worth buying a new print? Mine gives me great joy to own and cherish, if buying new was the only option I probably would.

My original is lost in time along with many other books and models. I ended up buying a hardcopy off Rasmus a while back. It's a good read to see where ideas got their genesis along with things that aren't even vaguely mentioned that we accept as staple now days.

I am pretty sure that I still have my copy.  For those of you who have never owned it, I would recommend purchasing it.  If nothing else, the sheer complexity of the rules has to be read to be believed.
