Have you seen what's happening on the Eldar board?
They're only bloody conspiring to beat up your Decurion lists.
I wouldn't stand for it, if I were you.

You are answered only by the dust of ages and your voice echoing down long, empty corridors fashioned by a species long since dead.
...
A Tomb Spider asks if you're lost and would like directions to the gift shop.
(Haven't seen a Necron player in these here parts in an age. Hopefully, one day, the tomb world will reawake.)

Yeah I know -But based on all the bad sci-fi/horror movies I've seen, the best way to arouse a long-dead baddy is to lark about in his house.

Hmm. Despite my interest in starting a necron army, they're actually one of the few factions I don't have enough stuff to field. Perhaps I should win the lottery and put the money towards starting up a 'cron force so that I can post in this chunk of the forum? :D

I was 50/50 between 'crons and Guard for my next army, and that was when all the Imperial players in my group dropped out. So, IG it was--somebody's gotta represent the humans.

I've got 1 game in so far with my fledgling Necron Army, which I lost.
I have a lot to learn about how to play them. It would be great if there was a Necron community to learn from/with on here.
I think you should both start playing them, purely for my benefit.

You know, if I had more people to play against, I totally would. It's an awesome army--strong rules, great models, easy to paint. It's win/win/win. I don't know why there aren't more folks around here who play them.
