Question About GW's New Intellectual Property Guidelines
« on: July 21, 2021, 02:19:16 PM »
Hi Moderators,

Quick question about Games Workshops' new intellectual IP Guidelines.

Do I need to brand my original stories in the fiction board any specific way now, or have them removed from the website?

Just curious, it's in no way related to Games Workshop IP. But, I'd rather be safe and not have GW mistake anything when I attempt to publish this stuff.

Thanks.

If it's in no way related to their IP, they won't make a mistake about it.  I wouldn't worry about it.
If there is anything that recent politics has taught us, it is that quotes taken out of context can mean what ever you want them to.

The ip rules they have about fan fiction have always been there, so nothing has changed. They just updated it for animations and 3d printing.

Understood, guess I never looked at their policy until they addressed the more recent stuff.
