Your painting has a very neat, crisp, and acurrate feel to it that comes over very well on Eldar in particular.  The Wraithlord really stands out well and I do particularly appreciate the contrast of the old axe head vis-à-vis the red armour plating.

I am envious of your white. It is by far my least favourite colour to paint... Though i'll admit i have limited experience with Yellow.

A question, the plastic Howling Banshees... I have 4 full squads of the girls myself, though they are all metal. Are the plastic kits a significant step up? Should i be looking at squad 5? Do they come with a Triskele?

Thank you, Lachdonin! For the white - I've found in my experience, how good it comes out does really come down a lot to the brand you choose. They are all so different consistency wise. Been having a good time with Duncan's two thin coats and layering up from bone to cream to white.

As for the banshees, I believe they are a significant step up, but outside of the exarch, which has a number of options, the other poses can't be varied much outside of kitbashing.

The Exarch has two heads and comes with mirror swords, executioner, and triskele (all three are in the kit!) - I'd recommend at least one squad of 10 of the new models, in addition to the new Jain Zar.

Sounds like my girls will be getting reinforcements once again.

About to begin working on a few terrain projects while I continue working on the Aeldari!

This is really impressive collection of terrain.  I await to see how you decide to paint that with interest.  As for the Saim-Hann Eldar, they look great as always.

Woah! Where'd that terrain come from?

Also watching your Eldar progress is making me want to get them again as well as the pics of the new scorpions, they are sweet!

Hey Dread,

The terrain came from etsy! It's called Unearth Eternity - highly recommend looking it up!

And thank you, getting back into the swing of things!

Very jealous of your vibrant reds! At the peril of asking a question that's been asked before, what's your process?

So I've experimented with a few methods here. The most current scheme that works for me is using a white scar or wraithbone primer and using a few contrast medium thinned layers of Baal Red contrast. I think layer up with the duncan rhodes two thin coats paints sanguine red, then highlight with demon red, fanatic orange, then orange flare. I also wash with bezerker blood shade from GW.

that's some sweet looking terrain. I like how th eLOS blockers isn't a massive thick building.

Is it possible to have two of them in a L shape so at least it will not be that easy to flank on one side?

Hey Mage,

Yep - it's not quite perfect fits, but the terrain can easily be paired to make some L-shaped terrain layouts in addition to a few others.

I think it works very well!

Nice! The green static grass complements the red very well. A good base does so much for a model and these are no exception.

Nice! Are those pebbles natural, or is it some kind of hobby flock material?

Thank you! So the basing is a combination of two pre-mixed sets of basing ready material that I slammed together. I gave it that swampy jungle look by washing it with a heavy shade of Seraphim Sepia. You can see the terrain mixes at Geek Gaming Scenics USA, I believe it's called.

Thank you - and I agree! really gives it a more immersive feel!
