Ta for the nice comments.

The green was supposed to be as it the picture was taken with an image intensifier and the flare was the Daemon firing off a psychic attack against the Servitor taking it.  Needs a bit work I guess :)

those minis of yours skwire are immense. i pride myself on my more recent painting but yours put mine to shame. brilliant job, any better and you'll be getting towards being a competitive golden demon painter in my honest opinion.
From the skies we rain, as the emperors fist we strike against our foes, until all blood be it alien, heretic or mutant is spilled. we will not rest until the galaxy is cleansed free of these monstrosities and we hold these worlds in the name of humanity and its immortal emperor.

Gosh (blushes)

They were really were a labour of love.  The Grey Knight Marines, Termies and Stormtroopers are some of my favourite models that GW have ever produced.  A lot of credit must also go to my mate Del who took the photos.  It amazing the difference it makes when you use a camera to its full abilities.

Thx Skwire,
I really liked the 'green photo' you made.
Some more pictures..

My Canones.. I will repaint her face (for brighter look) and robe that is at the moment (dirty) white will be changed to fit purity seals on penitent and flagellants. My army uses pieces of skin taken from those heretics that understood their wrongs and were than slain with the name of emperor on their lips. She will wear them as a dress and purity seals. I will update this picture soon.

Even more great stuff guys!

I also like the Da Skwire's green photo of the daemonhost. It reminds of the opening scene from eisenhorn.

Keep posting those pics all, it's really great to see them up on this forum.

@Abuk: How did you manage to convert those Exorcists? Was it a simple case of glueing/pinning the Whirlwind launchers onto the sides of the Immolator, or was it actually a bit more difficult/complicated than that?

Other than that, wonderful looking minis.

Yup.. only cutters and glue was involved.

It is very easy to find someone who wants to buy SM rhino. So I've asked one of these guys to buy whirlwinds and gave him the money to compensate difference in price. Then I bought immolators and voilĂ !
I am thinking at the moment about replacing glue with magnets. That would allow me to switch weapons and use this vehicles as exorcists and immolators.

Hey all, just wanted to share some of my DH army with you. I went for "grey" Grey Knights rather than silver. A couple of things you may notice as well:

1) Each GK has his own heraldry and individual name. Now that I'm on about my 40th, it's getting harder and harder...
2) My Grandmaster I painted in black armor in reference to the old Index Astartes article on the GK. I figured as the senior guy, his armor would be the oldest, and perhaps reflect older color schemes...

I'd love to hear your feedback!

I don't like SM and inquisitional SM are no exception.
But yours are really really nicely painted (and with a scheme that is not standard). Beautiful. I'd love to play against (or allied with) such a force!

I think I just bit through my paint brush  :o

They are fantastic.  Anyone, even the 'Eavy Metal team, would be honoured to play against them.

Thanks for the kind words.  ;D

I apparently have a fetish for armies with out-of-date codexes, because I have also started a WItchhunters army as well. It grew out of a need for allies for my DH, and are now becoming an army in their own right. Here are some of my sisters.

I went with the more traditional color scheme, mainly because I think they will complement my DH army better this way.

Wow, that is some crisp, clean highlighting. Those are very good looking battle sisters. Thanks for sharing.

Probably about 3000 of DH. I have 4 more PAGK to finish up, which will fill out 4 10-man squads, plus about 10 termies, 20 IST's, 2 rhinos, 2 LR, and 1 dread. Another dread is a WIP

Sisters are really small still. Just 20 right now, adding more as we speak. Plan to get to about 2000 points.

I started both armies late. I have about 8000pts of DIY SM.

Some of my miniatures are almost done so I thought I'll share them with you.
(and apart from that I've edited my previous posts in this topic to show my army in one place)

Canones (only thing to do are purity seals- I'll 'devlan mud' them):

I'm going to repaint metal elements on this penitent:

My lady Inquisitor.. The book and some highlights still need to be done .
But I like her regardless.

Stormtroopers.
Two of their hellguns will be turned into melta guns.

Forces of ecclesiarchy without a priest?
No way.. (at least fluff wise

And last but not least- SoB units:

Sister superiors will be pained to look even better than the rest of the squad (now they have same details and shading).
Strangely her face looks very good in reality but darn ugly on the photo.
Oh well.

Exorcist with old-school style rhino:

Same thing but for different squad:

One of mine very simple yet very useful objective markers..

Enjoy!
;)

Sweet looking army there Abuk! Models look great, and are painted just the way that caputres the essence of the force. You should be proud of such a force. My only criticism, is that the basing is pretty plain and black edges on bases erk me. But thats all personal opinion.
