Daemon Prince Questions

In the Codex it sates that the Daemon Prince can be ALWAYS tragted out if DS is one of his upgrades, so if he had a retinue can I allocate the wounds to them?

I dont think you can allocate wounds to them because he is a monsterous creature and therefore looses the benifits of offloading wounds to others in his squad. I think anyway.

But you forgot a Daemon Prince is still a IC and a MC....hmm this is confusing...

The rules for Daemonic Stature say that the Daemon Prince can be specifically targetted, regardless of whether he's part of a unit or retinue.  I don't see how it could be argued that wounds caused to the prince could be allocated to other members of his squad.  Even though the DP is an IC he loses some of the IC benefits if you give him Stature.
