Does the new boxed set (Battle for Macragge) contain the actual big rule book? Or does it just have that pamphlet thing?

it's it CLEARLY stated on the GW webpage that it comes with the Battle For Macragge 32 page manual which takes you step by step through the rules system, and a 92 page version of the full Warhammer 40,000 rules

So to rearrange that.

Rule book: something like 300 pages.  These are Main Rules, Fluff, The Hobby, Painting, Scenery, Mission types and a few alternate rules (comabt patrols & kill team)

Macragge set: Rules and an "initiation" campaign booklet.
