Looking great Myen'Tal. That cloak looks great, but I'd almost be tempted to suggest to have some free hand or transfer ruins put on it. It looks like it would be a great candidate. Not sure if its something you tried before, but it's not too difficult.

Thanks, Dog of War!

I agree, will need to some transfers to use soon!

But I have never worked with them before, but it's time I probably did.

What I'm working on:

Simply great to see. Making me want to work on my first love. I have a huge army with some painting needs to be done. Maybe. Anyhow cant wait to see yours done.

ooooooooooooooooo more pointy ears :)

Nice lighting effects on the fireprism, and I like the black engines and rear door.

If you want to put  the "runes" on the Eldrad model, check out the decal sheets, one of them will have a straight line of runes in one sticker, but it can be cut up so you don't have to free hand it :)

That's a heap of nice minis there and can't wait to see the progress that you make. If you are looking at working with transfers, the one grouping that magenb mentioned is great and a perfect scale for the cloak in my opinion. I also highly recommend investing in some lahmian media to help smooth everything out before you apply it and some 'ard coat to seal it.

Thanks guys  ;D.

Would any varnish due or does it need to be specifically 'ard coat? I don't know if it's a formula that make people prefer the 'ard coat.

Will get the transfers!

I think any varnish will do, but I prefer the 'ard coat simply for the fact that I'm only applying it just to the transfer and not the entire model and most varnishes I find are sprays. What I do is use the lahmian media to smooth out the paint, let it dry and then apply the transfer. Once dried I do a coat of 'ard coat to seal it and then apply the lahmian media again to take away the gloss left by the varnish.

Is it hard to work with so many different things at once, or does it make it easier for you?

When priming by airbrush, it is much easier to assemble multiple things and just do everything in one run ^^.

Painting them, I find it is also a good way not to burn one self out on focusing on one color scheme  :).

Looking really good.  The choice of colours and the contrast between them has worked very well.

Thanks, Irisado!  :) , I like how they turned out too. Took forever to decide on a scheme.

Another update:

Our assembly is done.

Completed some more bases, will need to get to cleaning and painting the edges next. Ran out of my forest materials, so used the next best thing.

Working on restoring an ebay knight to glories worthy of Saim Hann. Just got a rough wash, but it will look much better when I begin layering.
