I stopped buying White Dwarf on a semi-regular basis after the June issue. I was tempted back by the Necromunda content of this issue.
Those of you who read what I write might remember that I bemoaned the loss of illustrated covers in my May review so I was really pleased to see that this issue has an illustrated cover rather than a picture of a model on the front.
The wrap around style of the cover isn’t as effective as it should be though due to the inflexibility of the magazines spine.
In my opinion this issue would have benefited from having more Necromunda and Tyranid content and less pictures.
Including the front cover and the back side of the back cover this issue contains 164 pages. 16 of those pages are made up of stuff that is new for Christmas. These 16 pages have been ignored for this summary.
