For models, thier are only Nightlord marines, no havocs or other units, just night lord marines, so how would I make regualr chaos untis seem nightlordish

The Marines in the NL box look a bit ridiculous. It seems that they have been designed by 'Batman'. I suggest to take normal CSM. Paint them (dark) blue and use white skull for some bizarre patterns on the armour.

One thing you can do, just mix and match helmets and shoulder pads, as long as there's something blatantly Night Lords somewhere on the model, it's all good. One model with just a Night Lords shoulder pad works fine without the winged helmets

Considering my chosen armies are Vampire Counts and Night Lords, yes, I think "Back from the dead" is probably the most accurate description of my return.

Most of my 8+ year old night lord army are standard chaos marines. Once you paint them dark blue with bronze and lightning bolts and slap a decal on the shoulder pad you cannot tell the difference. By far the best looking of the chaos chapters when done right

I don't know why everyone hates the NL helms...I think their quite cool actually...
anyway, if you want to make havocs and such, just buy the box of CSM, and bitz order some heavy weapons; or buy blisters of heavy weapons and bitz order heads.

Hey! I know! Let's focus on building army lists, instead of silly custom titles and command structures, yeah?

In terms of Havocs, I would buy a box of Iron Warriors. It contains 1 lascannon (and 1 melta). But it's a limited edition.

Might as well be, they quit producing it.
I agree the helms arent horrible, I made my chosen squad and several aspiring champs have the batman helms just for something different on one of those once every two or so year motivated kicks on adding to my army. Its kinda like the concept of putting bushes and stuff in the camo band of our kevlars to break up the outline just slightly taller than they should be.

Sorry wrong choice of words, however they are now only availible from mail order which means unless your store has stock of them then they have to specifically order them or you order them from GW Mail order. They are taking them off of the shelves however. I think they are doing it with some of the other chaos legion box sets too, NightLords come to mind but no hard confirmation of that one.

They may not be on the shelves but you would still be able to order them from your local stockist or GW store. They are probably being removed because of lack of shelf space/increase of products.
