how do you get them? like ripper swarms with tyranids? or do you convert them? or a littel of both? if you have to convert them what do you guys usually use to do so?

you buy them.  They come in blister packs.

The new Nurglings cost too much ($12 CAN per base of 5 Nurglings), I'm getting the Archive ones for $10 per base. The archive ones are better anyway, and you don't have to drill the bases to glue them in. I could get them for $8 per base if I only wanted 4 Nurglings per base, it's much easier this way.

That, or you could get a ton off of eBay for really cheap (Silverthorn got a whole ton, something like 20 bases, for just a little bit of cash).

If you're feeling adventorous though a little blob of green stuff and some little postules, and cuts, model two eyes and paint it disgustingly and you should be fine.  Otherwise just go buy them, the old ones IMO look better as well.

$12!!! I get 'em for $10 per 2 bases of 5 nurglings! or at least I did...

But the new nurglings suck. I'd sell a box of waffles just to get the old ones back. AND I LOVE WAFFLES!

Yeah I saw a blister at 13-14$ canadians for 10 nurglings.

But you could put 3 of them per base, which is already a good amount and fits with their amount of wounds and attacks. There is no official number of nurgling per base.

Me I was lucky I bought 20 bases of 3 nurglings (60 in all) for 30$ US. Otherwise I wouldn't have even bought one base...
