There is no point in forgeworld anymore, not only are my DKK dwindling to nothing, every army is losing models every other month. FW might as well be a 30k site by now, does anyone have any inside knowledge of what the hell is happening with FW now (I doubt it) but I mean what is the point in that business anymore. People buy models knowing they will soon stop making them or they'll frantically buy them before they stop making them. I really can't imagine that 30k as is popular as it is. I love me some space marines but its such a limited game/narrative and limited in that the only armies are really SM's (and I'm a SM player) its just boring to me. The only models they release are 30k models or 30k models that can be used in 40k, such a depressing waste.
Death Korps of Krieg didn't really loose anything. Just anything which is in the Astra Millitarum codex (Like Infantry Squads), now just follow those rules. So, they lost specific datatsheets, but didn't loose any units. This is actually great for the army, as for years Death Korps of Krieg, due to all their specific datasheets were often left behind when the Astra Millitarum book was updated.
The other units not in the Forgeworld codex, are ones which are no longer in production. I know which sucks, but it's more fair for everyone if the rules reflect what you can buy. Limited inventory space, quality of molds, and other factors means that the companies cannot manufacture all kits indefinitely. For all those cases, there are Legends rules for all out of production kits. A lot of those kits which have been moved to legends, haven't been in production for years.
And yes, Forgeworld isn't focused on 40k anymore, it's focus is 100% on 30k and Specialist games. Has been that way since Alan Bligh died, who was the main creative lead for the company.
