You show me where it says a stature lord can't be screened by infantry. It's not a vehicle. It too is infantry. it has a toughness value, therefore it is a "model". It does not follow the IC rules insofar as it can be shot when within 6" of a friendlyy unit, but if it is twice the height or less of the friendly models in front of it and they're close enough together, they WILL screen it. It does not need vehicles or terrain to hide behind, it just needs to be small enough. The GW-made prince is easily small enough. Mine uses the new Inquisitor unbound Daemonhost as the base model, and so is WAY too tall.
Show me where it bars me from using infantry models to screen another infantry model, and I'll agree. Until then, screen those stature lords, people!

Some ppl are so cheap ...........
ok i did that cuz i dont know how to double post. david i must agree, already they have a cheesey daemon prince running around and expect it to be able to be screened by normal infantry, that must be the cheapest thing i have eva seen. ok spellbound heres where it sez it.
wen a daemon prince takes stature it becomes a monstrous creature. and its well known knowledge that montrous creatures cannot be screened by other models or infantry, so as to quote u.
show me where it bars me from using infantry models to screen another infantry model, and ill agree. (well there it is)
until then, screen those lords ppl!
