DVD / Bluray digital copies and Windows Media Player
« on: July 9, 2012, 02:40:48 PM »
I bought Star Trek a while ago and only now realized that the movie had a digital copy.  So I put the disc into my computer to get the copy into my system so I can play it through my PS3 and it gives me two options.  Transfer via WMP or transfer via iTunes.  I try iTunes and apparently I need a credit card to be able to use something I already bought... awesome.

So I try WMP and it comes up with a screen to enter the code, then quickly switches to another page saying I need to download the latest version of WMP to be able to get the digital copy.  I am on windows 7 so have WMP 12.  Look up the latest version of WMP on google and it says... WMP 12.  I open the program and click check updates, says I have the most up to date version of WMP 12.

What.

beslubber!!!

Anyone know how I can get this damn thing to work before I decide to make the disc into a frisbee and throw it into traffic?
If there is anything that recent politics has taught us, it is that quotes taken out of context can mean what ever you want them to.

"Dark Angels are Traitors" is the 40k equivalent of Flat Earthers.  You can provide all of the proof you want that says otherwise, but people just can't let it go...
