Let's see some WoT replays!
« on: December 18, 2011, 10:55:41 PM »
With the introduction of 7.0, Wargaming.net was kind enough to bring in a system that allows us to have replays of the action in game.  These replays are very easy to find, go into your world of tanks folder and find the folder named "replays" and there ya go!  Now, for sharing these files it is a tad more difficult.  You have to use a third party file sharing system.  I use Drop Box myself as it is free and very easy to use.  All I have to do is move the files to a folder on my computer (when installing it gives all instructions) and it uploads them to a website which you can get a link to use to share with.

Now, to run the replays in your folder it really is simple.  Either just double click, or if it asks you to choose a program to run it with, just choose the WoT application but make sure you don't have the program running already.

With the links, just save to your hard drive or run them from the download.

So I will be the first to share some of my more memorable games since this latest version was released.

Company battle in my tiger 2, I managed to get 195% base defender, shame the counter stops at 100%:

Most money I have ever won in my Type 59 on a loss:

Had a blast rolling some guys around the light house on cliffs in my E75:

Malinovka, headed up the hill with another Type 59 and an IS-3 in support and we stopped their advance dead in its tracks.  Oh yeah, the guy complaining about someone using gold rounds?  Yeah, that's me he's talking about!

So come on guys, dig deep and find those replays!

If there is anything that recent politics has taught us, it is that quotes taken out of context can mean what ever you want them to.

Was wondering why I couldn't find any replays as I wanted to show why I loved the T-34 so much (6 kill top gun performance)... turns out I had to enable them. CURSES, FOILED AGAIN.
...a spiffified whizz-bang unit of Much Destruction that'll get whored like crazy in WD and kill a million Monoliths in the release batrep
Lomendil's pick for the new DE dex. Not quite, but we have a 'dex now!

Well played, TW.  By well played, I of course mean god damn your traitorous ways.

Do love Diplomacy!

Now don't you feel silly?

Few more to share with you guys.  Toad should be aware of this as he made a comment about how I play my E-50 a couple weeks ago when we platooned.  Be sure to watch the health percentage when the T-54 gets rammed:

Another game doing well in my T-59:

A pair of tiger twos hold one flank against 4 other heavies in a company battle:

This is one of my better games since 7.0 came out, and I've been away a bit, but I gt (relatively lucky in this game: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/29342940/20120105_1151_germany-JagdPzIV_fishing_bay.wotreplay

And here's a game in the D2: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/29342940/20120110_2248_france-D2_prohorovka.wotreplay

Just want to  bring something to everyone's attention.  With 7.1 being out, there may be issues with replays from 7.0.  Just be aware of that and enjoy!

Here are some replays for you guys.  Two demonstrating the awesome power of a tier 5 french light tank!  This thing is freaking beastly!

And one in my Type 59 where I was cleaning house!

Update!  Here is my 13 90 in its third run with the 90mm getting Top Gun and Solo capping the enemy base FTW!
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/53795902/20120210_1756_france-AMX_13_90_siegfried_line.wotreplay

An example as to why you always want either a small repair kit or crew trained in repairs.  If the Tiger 2 I was facing had either of those I was screwed.  But he didn't so victory is mine!

Am I the only one in a sharing mood?  Or am I the only one doing well enough to warrant sharing?  ;) :P
