It's time for the convert a titan contest!
The rules are:

A Titan or Knight can be made from any race(even if it doesn't exist).
Minimum Height of 8 Inches
Keep up a series of in-progress pics
Banners don't count for height
Cannot be made mostly of GW plastic kits

The contest is from December 15 to April 15

The contestants are:

There will be a giant poll to decide the winner of the contest

Registration ends the 15th, when the contest begins until April 15th. Remember to post about your progress!

EDIT: Remember to put a ruler/yard stick next to your titan for the final pic!
What should probably happen with this many people is put the in progress pics in one post, but keep modifying it

Tiny problem. 2 feet might not be enough for some of the bigger things out there. I say no maximun high. But besids this, I see no problems with the rules.

I think the Reedback will follow a similar style to my Russ walkers, but bigger. Not sure what to arm it with though, maybe the equivelant of 1 1/2 Russ'?

There really isn't a need for judges if a poll is made. The idea that Scorn will strangle someone for requesting the poll (actually following the rules, good heavens!) is misguided. It also removes the conflict of interest in the organizer participating. Keep it simple, folks.

Once the 15th hits, ill just change the title, and you can modify your progress into a post, so plant your flag!

I guess then I'll add my chaos titan into the mix.

Day 1: The troops are assembled

My bits have been assembled, they are mostly from the chaos vehicle frame, and the COD buildings, plus my 50,000,000,000 Tide of Spawn bitz.

What im going to do is make a possessed tian kinda thing, with the pink foam stuff as the base, with cardboard on top, and load it with bitz. Its going to be a Warhound unless I make it too big then it will be a Warlord

These are VERY WIP. The outside edges are going to be tilted at about a 45 degree angle back. They are made of foamcore.

And yes, I did label them A,B, and C. I am rather absintminded and can easily forget which peice goes where.

My spot!

I am still editing my plans at this point, but I did happen to build a computer paper test leg for my arachnid chaos titan.

Please note that is just to get a rough idea of size. The permanant marker represents an area that will be slightly raised edging. Also this will connect to a lower hull and that will have the upper hull above it (duh). If you can't see the inch markers, a warmachine spray template is 8'' long.

it will proberly be knight sized but will look like a cross between a destroyer and a tombspyder but will of course be alot bigger

I claim this spot in the name of the Imperium!

After much deliberation I've opted to build a Warlord Titan, in the style of the latest Epic model. The box says it's a Lucius Pattern, so I guess that's what it'll be.

For the lower body, it'll mostly be made of plasticard and plaster filler for weight and support. All weapon mounts will be magnetised, even the shoulder ones.

Pics to come later, but for now, a handy little "progress bar" of sorts.
