I think red is an inbetween color when it comes to difficulty - a challenge to paint, but not like black or yellow. So I think that's why i like it so much, and it looks really good when done up to a bold shade! I am toning down how much red will be in the army though, since I doing a forgeworld scheme that is closer to Lucius.

Nice! I do like the reds. They contrast nicely with the blue on the model. Did you wash the metal parts with blue ink too?

It took me a few years to realise retrospectively that red must be my favourite colour because nearly all my armies had some of it. Certainly easier to paint than yellow.

Nope - just nuln oil or agrax earthsade so far!

I am not certain I have a favorite color to paint - just a desire to learn how to paint any color I need to pretty well for what I want to achieve!

There's a halfling piloting the suit inside, I promise!

Working on Kataphrons! Still establishing the red. Will correct the metallics once I've established the red.

Looking cool. I do like the aethestic of the Ad Mech forces, its very 40K with wacky tech horror factor.

Its nice they eventually got some love in model form.

In fairness, that's basically the Imperium by default. (thanks, John Blanche!). But yeah, the AdMech should take things to 11 in that regard.

Love the snow effects,  it looks like they've been stood dormant in the snow until given an activation command and they lurch into life!

Will you be getting a stilt walking dangley exhaust port guy?

lol, the new sniper? I think I actually may get a few... if I can convert a ranger body to go onto the stilts. That way they'd a lot more agreeable and less silly. (A little less lol).

Got some more work done!

I thought the stilt walkers would look better if they had reverse jointed bird legs like a crane. No idea how to convert it though, its just it looks very stiff and awkward as they are.

Cracking progress, I love the magos with the scuttling claws coming out from his robes. There are really great models in the range to play with.
