Got some more work done!

Ahh the old reaching into the cookie jar pose. No one will slap you on the wrist for it if you're wearing a power fist. ;D I have to wonder how he eats them though...

On a more serious note I love the colours. It's a strong scheme and you've done it justice.

Thank you, PaxImperator!

And yes, the power fist is an auto-pass on any cookie jar opening test!

Worked on a few more things:

Nice! Looking forward to what you'll do with the Wraithguard in particular. The new (to me) models are posed so much more dynamically than the old metal ones.

Here is one example!

1. Getting some Skitarii based.
2. Layering and highlighting Belisarius Cawl's robes
3. Painting up a Wraithblade

Some additional work on Cawl!

I'm enjoying seeing the Wraithguard progress. Good luck with those large flat white surfaces!

What's going on with the Farseer's colour scheme? Different craftworld?

Thank you! It's not so bad if you build up from a dark or more neutral grey!

Also that "Farseer" I have you know, is Eldrad Ulthran, the most legendary farseer of Craftworld Ulthwe and the Aeldari! Since he is a named character, I painted him more true to his craftworld scheme. He'll be 'advising' my Saim-Hann forces when needed  ;D.

Cheers, I suspected it might be Eldrad. I actually thought the old Eldrad miniature looked pretty good and there was no real need for GW to make a new one. Then after seeing your post I did a side-by-side comparison and wow! The new one's much better proportioned and dynamically posed than the old one. Then again the old one does date back to the early 90s and compared favourably to contemporary models.

Oh, and how very appropriate to see an Eldar special character sticking his long pointy nose into other craftworlds' business! ;D

Those Wraithguard really do look fabulous.  I know that they are already a very smooth sculpt, but the way in which you paint them enhances that effect.  As for Eldrad, I appreciate seeing a different approach to the colour palette and I look forward to seeing how it turns out.
You haunt my in-box like an ex-girl friend could only dream of.

Looks impressive! You're going to need a bigger boat picture cabinet. :D

What are those models that look like rangers with close combat weapons, front right?
