most people tend to prefer a raider heavy army with 4-6 troop choices and at least one squad of wyches backed up by ravagers with disintegrators.
the trend seems to be going away from the archon and incubi in a raider to a archon conversion on a reaver bike with a jetbike squad in tow to take advantage of the no shooting IC's rule when they are near another squad.
scourge, helions, mandrakes, grotesques, haemy, talos, are scattered through a couple lists here and there but generally still suck in all purpose armies. foot sloggers are around but more because people got tired of always winning with raider armies than any great tactical advantage to them.
wasp-58 went nuts. i think he started drinking anti-freeze or something so if he starts spouting off how great of an idea it is to go tank busting with a squad of wyches with haywires and blasters just pat him on the head and remind him to take his medication
nothing has really changed that much in the past year. the biggest thing really is the TVR (trial vehicle rules) so if you haven't looked at that yet you might want to give it a good read. DE are largly unaffected but everyone else has some major changes.
http://www.games-workshop.com/news/oz/journal/assets/TrialVehicleRules.pdfhere is the link if you need it.
there was also a cool thread about the TVR in the DE forum titled something like "new vehicle rules and what they mean for us" that you might want to read... i think its on page 5 but here is the link for that.
