Oh fun fun. Great looking buildings. I've always just done quickie jobs but will be changing to your standards...soon. couple more weeks and moving should be done. Tonight I will get some building done but paints are still not moved, so just glue. Thanks for the inspiration.

Great seers of Craftworld Belah’rea foresaw current turmoil in the galaxy, a slow rise in a Nurgle infestation, the old great enemy re-awakening as the Necron rise once again, with it, would also bring fresh opportunities, with an Ork warband, Tau and the numerous mon'keigh also rising to the challenges.

So Craftworld Belah’rea withdrew from galaxy, toiling and sacrificing in an unknown region of space, until now...

Soo.. deals had to be made, my deepkin sacrificed to the gods of coin, but now my Eldar get to move into a new large home :)

:o Dude! I know whatcha mean. I no longer have my Grey Knights but my Necrons have grown in size because of that. It's funny, that was my completely painted army, huh, go figure. Anywho, can't wait to see that case filled.

Hopefully our move into our new house will be finished this weekend. I had just started painting on my new banshees when this impromptu move came to be. The new Hobby room is getting into shape so soon, ya, soon.

Keep at it. 8)

Absolutely brilliant! If I had the space for one of those, I'd have one too lol!

Aeldari look ready for some serious warring!

Are you putting all of your armies in there?

Not really. My health problems are creeping in while the move is happening. We're getting closer to having it all moved but wearing us out.

The case looks great.

Yeah, all my armies will be going in, its a bit of a double edge as I can see all the stuff I haven't finished painting, so less buying more painting hopefully.

Not really. My health problems are creeping in while the move is happening. We're getting closer to having it all moved but wearing us out.

sorry to hear that mate, but there is no rush to get everything done. My friend had boxes in the garage for 6 months after his move, made him see how much stuff he could sell off lol.

My Artel W order finally showed up, takes a while to get things out of Russia at the moment, so had to drop some paint no them.

We're actually taking the night off from moving. Storming outside so...guess what? PAINTING TONIGHT! Just don't know what :-\. Hmm?

Those Artel W minis look absolutely incredible! The only drawback I can see to them is their aesthetic similarity to Striking Scorpions, but that;'s a personal taste that you can ignore 8).

These are so perfect to use as scorpions and the exarch with the spine, great touch to help frighten the enemy. The colors really look good for the traditional feel and fluff. Great job.

I'm still alive, but I've been stuck doing home reno's. Took a couple of weeks off work and gotten most of it out of the way.

One thing I did learn though, is the tools from Asia have a smaller grip sizes than those made in Europe. Never really noticed it doing the odd jobs, but its a killer on your hands working with them on a decent sized job.

Looking forward to getting back to painting mini's again :)

soo I managed to sneak some time in while doing the reno. Still need to wash the barricades.

will varnish be enough to protect the walkway or is there something better I can use, since bases are likely t=o scratch the surface.

Damn, that's some really crisp, neatly painted walkways. Does the upper part the models would stand on detach separately? Otherwise painting the cables and stuff underneath must be an absolute pain!

I agree with Sir_Godspeed, I really like the colours you have chosen and the asthetic you have achieved for your walkways.

Does the upper part the models would stand on detach separately?

Sort of, the underside of the walk way is actually flat, so sadly the cables can not be seen from under the walk way itself. The trade off is that the walk way has hex holes, so you can attach pillars, ladders and connect different length walkways together without needing a load of pillars. That said, I'm a bit gun shy as to how much weight those joiners can hold if they were not glued in and there is also a piece that you can glue in place on top to reinforce the join.

The barricades on the side are detachable, but they will damage the paint if you take them off and on. You could work something up with magnets if you really wanted to.

I saw Tabletop titans do a board full of the walk ways and shipping containers (CWE vs Tau) ages back, on their youtube channel. I really liked the concept, kind of like an over sized zone of mortalis lol. Love the idea of having movement on multiple levels rather than just hiding in buildings. The 40k conquest mag issues 79 and 80 made it cheaper to kick off the project.

On a side note, check out their video on how they setup their game boards (you'll see one of their walk way maps in there) https://youtu.be/lTVSTduzf-M
