Noodling a little from scratch on this one. Altering colours and mood a little. I have really evolved a lot since I first started painting the Night Lord...

Just so you know, there have been two regular updates and one "irregular" update on http://studiocolrouphobia.net/ since last time I posted here. Some 40k or powerarmoured, some not... ;)

Excellent-looking necron there, and the black and white style really accentuates the... cool... stuff (I'm sorry, I ran out of words).

On a related note, what do you think about the "expanded" designs of the new Necrons? I personally felt that while they may be mroe "exciting" and good-looking, they lost a bit of their stylistic simplicity that set them apart as something inhuman. Then again, I guess tey're not really supposed to be that inhuman anymore.

I try not to think too much about the "upgrades" but as far as the visual, I like where the Necrons have gone.

Hey, that's great! I'm currently aiding a group that wants to do exactly this, provide clean water to villages around the world. I'd help more, but I'm a poor student, and I already pay a monthly sum to Save the Children's project in East Africa.

That would be Sanguinius. A lot of people have already said (elsewhere) "but, he's blonde?!"
Which was true in the older artwork, but in the HH novels he is blackhaired (And Lion El´Johnson is blonde, go figure).
I kind of like that so Im making my Sanguinius blackhaired.

I see. I thought it was the next step in the Fulgrim picture, until I realized his was chalk-white.
