I think they aim to give every faction a huge centrepiece mini so yeah, expect dragons.  8)

They already revealed the centerpiece model, Teclis. I doubt we'll see another big monster.

I think it really depends on whether the generic centerpiece version will also be a sphinx or not.

Remember, it's not always just one centerpiece model per faction.

Idoneth - Eidolon and leviadon

Gloomspite - Mangler and Troggboss

Bonereapers - Mortarch and Catapult

There's a possibility we could get more then one. I'm almost certain of it, because Tyrion seems to be a part of this faction :).

Yeah, I was wondering whether we might get a generic version of the Sphinx thing, or whether's exclusively a "mount", like the big beetle monster of Alarielle.

They definitely could get more than one centre piece model (hence dragons!  ;D).  Tyrion is bound to appear for example.

From the rumblings I’m hearing in the wider community, these guys are going to absolutely fly off the shelves.  GW is on a role these days!

Definitely going to be just with Teclis.

I'm curious to hear about the Sons of Behemat book which has been rumoured as well.

Aw, bummer.

Yeah, an entire army purely of Giants sounds super-weird, but interesting if they can balance it. Also lots of room for customizing models that large, I guess.

Excited by the small previews in this article! I love the new 'Earth' Mage, and I wonder if the image of that standard is a noble? Also really curious about the veiled aelven woman too.

I believe in the next two weeks, everything will be revealed at adepticon!

I love how mysterious they look.  For some reason I’m getting Destiny vibes...especially the Trails Of The Nine.  I’m definitely getting their book at the very least.

I would put a helmet less head on that model as it would look a million times better, or even replace it with a head from either the spearmen or cavalry we've seen so far. Those horns are too impractical and dangerous to the wearer, if one of those horns took a hit, either the helmt would spin and block your view or it would twist your neck.

I don't know, I think you kinda have to chalk the unrealistic headgear up to magic and divinity to some degree. They're clearly not *meant* to be realistic, so instead if you'd like, you could make some reason for it, eg. it helps channel the geomantic spirits or whatever. I'm kinda digging it. They look more like religious iconography than actual people, and I kinda feel like it fits. It's obviously a matter of taste though.

Overall maybe the most enticing faction in AoS I've seen so far.

I do think it's a tad weird that the faction dedicated to *light* is all about *geo*mantic spirits, ie. earth spirits. It's thematically... odd.

I wasn’t aware of that.  So they’re, what...Earth benders or something?  Despite being ‘light elves’ from the realm of light?  It’s unexpected, maybe GW deserves credit for not making them too obvious.

As for the helmet, yes it’s over the top, but that’s par the course for GW so I don’t mind!  ;D

There are four elements in total, guys. Earth - Defensive, immovable. River - Magic. Zenith - Martial, fire, and I think wind is the last one? All of the Lumineth revolve around these four elements on which their society is built.

 ;D ;D ;D

I am loving this unit of archers!!! While they do seem a bit monopose, I actually like it in this case because they seemed synchronized into one cohesive unit. I also really love the details on these models as well.

It's strange, someone told me that this army is going to be like Harlequins, paint-wise. Youi either have to be a great painter to due them justice or they'll just be meh. I honestly disagree with that, as one does not need to paint checker or galaxy patterns to make this work.

I am confident that I can do this army justice, as someone who knows they'd be awful doing a Harlequin army!!!

Well, certainly unexpected!

It's so out there that I'm not certain what to  make of it yet. Still, I think overall that the new reveals are cool. I think I just need some time to think on them. I do like the Mountain spirits, just wish there were slightly less ridiculous helms on the Stoneguard, haha.

Those helmets are difficult to digest.  ;D

But otherwise, very cool!

I mean, who the hell would have guessed that the "high elves" would be getting a Ghorgon of all things. :P

It looks both cool annd utterly bizarre at the same time. It's like someone dropped a bull head on top of an Eldar Revenant Titan or something.

I like everything but those stupid, stupid horns on their helmets. Like, wtf is with those?

Why not just put the horns *on* their helmets? That, at least, would look normal. But no, they had to give the helmets a lift and then stick the horns on the tippy-top like some kind of bovine propeller on a beanie. Yuck. I've never seen more obvious head-swap material in my life.

Ironically I think those weird helmets would have suited the cavalry better.  But that’s just me.  ;D
