Malfush?
« on: September 22, 2011, 11:20:21 PM »
Just came back to my computer to find out I'm banned. Now, I know that I've been a bad boy lately, but I had honestly decided to get my head out of my ass and start acting like a proper adult. I doubt anything can be done about it, I just wanted to get this cleared up.
If possible, I would like to come back, but if you guys banned me, that means you want me gone, and I'll accept that.

Sorry. Too little and too late. It's not a matter of bad boy lately but bad boy consistently. Of which you were often warned and notified as your descent continued. Good luck on your travels.

If you had done that exact same thing and meant it when you got your official warning, or indeed your title, you could have avoided it, but you didn't, and now it is gone and over with.
That is how it works here; you get told you are violating the rules, you get warned of the consequences, you get given a title so that others know that you are a bad apple, and if nothing else works then you are removed.
You went through all of this and now you are banned. Take care and have a nice day.

No one wanted you gone, the banning is the result of repeated rules violations over the course of several months.  We have a ledger in place to track this kind of thing and your entry reached the ban threshold.

It is a long, difficult process to get banned.  Each time you violated the rules you were sent a PM, a moderator comment inserted into your post, or a message in the related thread informing you about it or had   It takes a myopic persistence that rarely occurs, congratulations on your hard work.

Just so that all those of us who aren't staff know he has been banned, will his title be updated accordingly?

Was Malfush banned?
After 160 odd posts this must be a record?
Why?
Just curious  :)

For repeated violation of forum rules, particularly spamming and flaming.
And no, 160 is by no near stretch a record.
