The Expanse

There's a new Syfy show called The Expanse. Based on a series of, currently, five books. Kind of like BSG it's a worn future where it's not all white and glowing panels. Humanity doesn't have FTL. We've colonised Mars and portions of the asteroid belt. Mars and Earth are in a cold war while the Belters are tired of that amphetamine parrot and surviving day to day based on air/water/food. Then *amphetamine parrot* happens. The link above has the first four episodes ready to watch.

I read the books, before I heard of the show. The books are phenomenal, and I really enjoyed the first season of the show.

First season goes live for Amazon Prime this week. Netfliks and others in the colonies already have it. New season starts in February.
