Topic: Questions regarding Feral Orks

In the Feral Orks section the Feral Orks have a BS yet they have no shooting weapon, the WIldboyz only have daggers, does this mean they can throw em? if so where do I find the stats  beacause I could not find em in the book

The BS in the Wildboyz entry just means they are capable of using ranged weapons, it doesn't mean they have any one them.

So why would they have it at all? what ranged weapon can they use?

None. But its so in fluff, they can shoot a gun, even if they don't carry them.

So they suffer a -1 to the WS for +1 to BS for no reason? wow that seems a bit unjust...

You seem to fail to grasp the entire concept of the Feral Orks. Orks start off as having WS3 & BS3, it's only when they develop into a larger community (border Codex: Orks, Orks) that they become more accustomed to beating the crap out of someone rather than shooting them. Now if you apply that to Wildboyz, who have just been found wandering the 'wild' they aren't developed enough to have a WS4 BS2.

How do they become dumber? They simply focus on one aspect of combat. Orks in large populations focus on hand to hand combat, while feral orks have yet to have the time to focus hand to hand.

I wouldn't call them dumber or smarter. Its just a different style of combat. That's like saying regualr space marines
are dumber than chaplains because they have BS and WS of 4 rather than 5. Besides which GW does alot of things
like that. Why do beast men have a BS? None of them can even be equipped with a bow. Squigs have a BS. Squigs
don't even have arms. Its just for continuity and simplification's sake. Besides which Wildboyz are not the only things
in the Feral ork list.

It says somewhere in the ork codex that orks grow larger and dumber in great numbers, and that small numbers of orks are weaker and use more technology.  Also I was curious as to the wherabouts of the rules for feral orks, are they in a different codex?

Actually that's wrong, well the way you said it. Orks in larger numbers use more technology but tend to rely more on HtH than shooting. Feral Orks however don't have the technology aren't in large numbers so they rely on shooting wherever possible.

So another question...my frind is going to  use three gragant Squigotths on me when I play Dark eldar, how bad is that going to hurt me?

3 Gargantuan Squiggoths or 3 Massive Squiggoths? The difference is one is from Forgeworld the other is from the revised Feral Ork list. I don't have the rules for the Gargantuan Squiggoth but I know from there stats in Army Builder they are powerful.
