Can an Battlewagon upgraded to a Battlefortress be taken in a army under 2000 points, or does it need to be 2000+
-
Sorry, I am unable to help you out man. I know nothing of this Battlefotress that you speak of. I am interested to see how it goes though. Where do you hear of this? My curiosity is peaked.

It's in Imperial Armor II.
There are no restrictions whether you may use it or not. No 2000+pts limit.

Waaagh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sweet thanks Archon Astaroth

i thought thewy wher war machines, and as such could only be taken in a 2000 point batel as a seperate detach ment...
doh!
-
yes they are war machines so onoly in 2000+ as a sepperate attachment... but they really aren't worth their points. IIRC it is like 150pts give it 2 structure points and an armoured top with two twin-linked big shootas... sure you can upgrade those to zapz or kannonz for 15pts but that is like 300 points (give or take) for a relatively fragile vehicle... just stick with the battlewagon and upgrade your Nobz or get more boyz...you can never have to many boyz
-
You sure that's what it says in Imperial Armour 2
-
yeah... got it right here in front of me... just stick with a regular battlewagon and more boyz... unless you want to make a centerpiece for your army and have it stand out more than your average battlewagon
-
Could be quite nice in a 3000pt battle.
Oh Insidious Heresy if you ever decide to make a VDR ork vehicle remember stick to the theme that the front or side armour never goes over 13.
