 8) thanks. Hope to work on it some more in the next few nights. Was going to do color armor but decided metallics.

So never was able to get back on her...yet. Saw the doc. Dont have bad carpral tunnel but found out what the pain is from. I have tendonitis which ive mnown for years but the kicker is i have major nerve damage in my elbows. Thats what causes my hands to hurt so much. No surgery so thats good but some compression sleeves and meds.

On another note since i havent been painting minis i did this today for a friend.

Ah crap, sorry to hear about the nerve damage. :/ I hope the help you're getting is making a difference.

Love the pic, not often I see landscape monocrhome(?), and it's really cool!

Sorry to hear about the nerve damage, my friend. I am glad though that it won't require any surgeries  :).

Beautiful landscape portrait - the monochrome gives me the impression of a winter wonderland beneath an evening dusk.

Hope you're on the mend, Dread!

AH Dread, I'm sorry to hear about your health woes. I suffered with a bit of nerve damage after my bicep tendon surgery, so I can understand how debilitating it can be. I really hope that the compression sleeves and meds do the trick and alleviate the issue. All the best, and hopefully you'll see some better times ahead.

I came for the minis...but I'll definitely stay for the art. You have some serious talent my friend. That landscape is gorgeous.

So my hands are working better but then my eyes went nuts. Suffering from some double vision. Weird. Anyhow the past few weeks have sucked. No painting, drawing or building models. However today i realized that if i work on my nighthaunt i didnt need clear vision so much. I started collecting this army when it came out and have been adding to it here and there but recently was able to get a bunch really cheap. I build them as soon as i get them but then they just sit. So today i got them primed and base colored so when my vision is fixed i can get after the details. Heres the fruits of my labor today.

This is the airbrushed white on black primer.

This is the green over lay.

105 models...and some touch up on a few of my others.

Thanks for checking in and hope everyone is well.

Never have I seen so many breakable, thin swirls on an army. Makes me nervous just looking at it, lol! I hope everything goes well, and also that your health improves.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes. They worked. Because i changed my diet, eating healthy, my eyes are even better so now i can get back to doing my thing. They said i was boarder line diabetic which i have corrected. Still need glasses to see up close but thats ok.

As for my swirly things. They are more resilient than you would think. Im trying to get my entire army painted before march. I challenged a friend to a game then so...

Heres a pic of it all.

Been getting after it while my eyes work.

Originally i was just going to make everything look ghostly but after looking at so many others work decided to up my game a bit. This is the first re-finished.

Heres the second set in a vast sea of painting to do.

Looking Epic Dread. The stage coach is super sweet and you've achieved such a good, universal effect on the hordes. Top shelf stuff, sweet work man!

Oooh - Dread, that Black Coach looks epic, wasn't expecting that spectral sight, but it looks awesome. I can tell you put a lot of time into those smaller details, but that is what adds up and makes the whole come to life. Also, all the nighthaunt look really crisp -  like the color fades you managed to achieve.

That Black Coach looks incredible.  I love the spectral effect that you've managed to create and the red drapes on the coach itself are fantastic.
You haunt my in-box like an ex-girl friend could only dream of.
