death cult assassins power weapons

Hi
About the death cult assassins, can you chose two different power weapons for them and can they then chose to use either one and still get on extra attack for the of-hand weapon?

yes thus it has become quite common to see them modelled with a mace or axe

Does that go the same for Crusaders then?  Since they have a poor initiative to begin with, axes seem a given for them, right?  Does that mean a full unit of them is the ultimate pain in the ass for termies?
