Actually those models would look really good as squat models.  To bad that army never really got off the ground.

  I have only read about the squats.  Space dwarves FTW.  These models look great, I heard some guys talking about buying the new  Dwarf models and converting them also.

Did they have an actual Codex at any time?

They were pre-codices so no there was never a Codex:Squats, however they did have an official army list in RT and 2nd Ed 40k and in every edition of Epic up until Epic 40k.

Yeah I remember the Epic squat models you could actually field an army.  There never was that much support for them in 40k not for an army of models anyway.

These Scrunts are made by one of the original Sculptors for squats, so this guy knows what he's doing.

I hope he expands on Gnome Guard though, I like Gnomes even better then dwarves.
I'd be surprised if the above post wasn't squat related.
