that carnifex needs fixed, badly. try this: carni- adrenal glands (WS+I) bio-plasma, reinforces chitin, regenerate, scythe tail, tusked, 2xscything talons, thorn backed. 6 attacks+bio plasma+a possible d3 from the tail, strikes before powerfists, hits marines on 4, has 5 wounds that can be regenerated and counts as 20 models in cc. nasty bugger.

Drop regenerate off that. Too expensive for too little benefit. You could also stand to lose thornbacked, but it doesn't make that much difference ultimately.

I knew that someone would fix the carni but I wasn't sure what a good one would be so I just threw alotta crap on him. (It's everything you can get for one carni)

Drop glands off thebroodlord, and drop tendrils off the stealers.  Both are completely worthless. At no time will you conciably needs Int8.(well except eldar pheonix lords). Feeder tendrils doesn't work against anything you'd need it against anyway. You don't even have other broods to make use of its Shared capablity.

Your fex is a huge waste of points. Why in gods name you'd need to put rending claws on a fex is completely beyond me.  Implant attacks is completely worthless when combined with toxin sacks. Enhanced senses is worthless when your only gun is spine banks. In addition spinebanks almost completely outclasses flesh hooks unless you want to go climbing up walls.

For a CC carni your best bet is
2 talons
toxic maisma
+ws
flesh hooks
It makes him an elite in 1500+ games. He is a walking power fist.

For a heavy i recommend
2 talons
miasma
+ws
Flesh hooks
+wound
Thorn back (in case you accually win a fight)

Thats all you really need.

To me that looks like 2 heavy support choices out of a possible 3, and im pretty sure it doesnt say you can only take zoanathropes or carnifex... Looks fines to me.

This list isn't supposed to be super competitive just for fun. Also why can't you take a Zoanthrope and a Carni?

Replace the brain with some rippers w/ +1S & +1WS for 15 pts each.

Also with your list drop the fex and give the Genestealer scuttles

A combat fex in your list will spend all day walking across the board just to find that the stealers got there first

Oh and you may want to give the stealers extra armour

but then his list is no longer unique (he could always swap the 'fex for some new forgeworld winged rippers though)

An army full of anklebitters with a screamer-killer and aleech-master with retinue is unique and works great for me

I must say I love stealers my list has 1 squad of 10 for 300 points and it can and has killed 1000 points of ork’s (out of 1500 points) it all went wrong for the when I got first turn and rolled a 6 for my fleet 40 rending attack per turn (squish) ;D

Hence I love your list but as said the fex just cant keep up with stealers so if you want to keep the fex give it a gun or two

CWR :)
P.s. the forgeworld rippers are neat  ;)

Out of curiosity what mission if any where you playing? Diffrent from standard deployment in anyway?
