(Just kidding, but if one were to see them as eating analogous foods, then they would definitely (for me) partake in flesh...)

They probably eat chicken, whose to say that they don't raise them. they probably have chicken farms all over the place in their craftworlds. also they might also grow barley, hoops and yeast to make beer. they would have to have beer.

I would think they would have done away with beer, or the equivalent, as they probably associate it with the Fall. In fact I imagine almost all forms of alchohol would be done away with, save for special occasions. I guess.......?

when you think about it, beer helps you forget stuff. after all wouldn't the eldar like to forget the fall?

Getting drunk would have been something the pre-fall eldar did so the craftworlders would try to avoid it.

Erm... it's a bit greenish so it certainly looks like that  :-\... Cup-O'-Noodles are pretty much what us poor college students live on, so while the Eldar might not have an exact equivalent methinks they oft partake of Astronaut style dehydrated food just because it's more convenient especially when they are out and about. If they wanted to they are certainly advanced enough to make pretty much any analogue of their foods by using special types of algae like organisms, which would provide the highest yield most efficiently. Soylent green...the DE version is most probably made partially * from* Eldar, somehow I doubt cannibalism ranks high on their taboo list...I wouldn't put it past them to 'recycle' human slaves as well. Ironically, much like the dregs of Necromunda who have to eat 'block'...

Cup noodles are perfectly fine, if you can get a good Japanese/Thai brand. For some reason, the ones in America are purposely tasteless :x.

p 6 Eldar Codex

".Faeruithir noticed the look in the eyes of one of the mon-keigh -  it reminded him of the wild stare of a food animal that knows it is to be slaughtered."

Coming from a Craftworld Aspect Warrior we can safely presume that eating meat from animals is commonplace amongst the Eldar, maybe even universal.

Well, I know one thing for sure. Dark eldar drink wine of some sort. Not good for humans if I remember the story about the slave Gideon who had the "privilige" to meet Asdrubael Vect. There he was served wine that the human digestive system didn't  handle very well, and it would be very painful... so, liquids of some sort are drunk.

When it comes to eating I've got no idea. I believe they might eat meat, plants, fish and the like (most probably things humans don't know or have).
I don't think the Dark eldar eat humans and that sort. If they did, I'd think the word for humans and such wouldn't have been "playthings", but "food".  ;)
I don't think they are cannibals either, allthough Dark eldar drinking blood wouldn't seem farfetched to me.

They like drinking poisions. I remember reading somwhere that one had spent his whole life going to 'poision bars and venom houses' or something. Probably why humans cant take it.

Yeah, but remember that alcohol is poison. So human wine is actually exactly that ;D
I guess their wine might be of other things than alcohol though. Maybe another poison of a sort that have a bad affect on humans, and not so bad for the eldar.
