Hallo gnag!

Thanks again for the kind words

@Dread; I use a lot of bare heads in my aspect warrior squads. The reason is that the aspect warriors only comes in 3 or 4 poses and I do not think that it looks good if 2 doods have the same pose. My solutions is a simple head swap.

Daemon prince is looking pretty sweet. Nice deep color not over powered, just the right amount of chaos. The old WAve serpents are rock solid, love the flames on the shield projectors and how the graphics move off of them. The scorpions have a great presence, so glad you didn't make them look like circus clowns, I never liked the green myself, painted mine to look more like our west Texas scorpions.

The Striking Scorpions are definitely my favorite of that round.

Love the crisp highlights (with yellow!) on their armor and the orange fade that the yellow has.

Nice one, they do some good looking stuff.

Scorpions

Your Daemon Prince is absolutely gobsmacking. I genuinely can't put into words how amazing it looks.

It is the same with your Wave Serpent and Scorpions there is something about the way you have painted them that really draws the eye.

I simply love those Scorpions. I've always been fond of those models (can't wait to see what they do when they update them) and your colour scheme suits them down to the ground. Terrific work bud!

Hallo Gang

Thanks again for the kind words

I to really like the scorpions sculpt (actually it was the old 3ed sculpt of scorpions that made me decide to start eldar (that and the falcon)).

I just finished this piece of terrain (and in under one year! (I am a really slow painter))

Here is my chaos kill team

That's so awesome! It looks very well weathered and will be a great add to any table. 8) the dudes! Nice, dark and chaotic. Good color choices and the bases, so simple but great statement, good job.

The terrain has some really nice weather effects, top stuff!

Interesting use of parts on the chaos KT, but they just work, totally digging Airomir :)

That terrain piece looks absolutely awesome. The rust and streaks of dirt you have added are briliant.

Here is my chaos kill team

Looking at the shadows in your pictures you seem to be lighting the models from above and to one side. Coupled with the dark colour scheme this makes everything look dark. Less direct lighting might help show the detail of your painting a bit better.

That said they look bloody cool.

The kill team is very nice Blom. Very nice indeed.

But I'm here to talk about that terrain! Wowzers that thing is beautiful. The colour balance is excellent, the colours themselves are really nice (That yellow is beautiful), the base is terrific and then the weathering is just some of the nicest that I've seen on these boards.

Beautiful work bud, can't wait to see what your next projects are!

Hallo gang
@Alienscar;
Sorry about the quality of the fotos. I am not a camera man and I just tried to ad as much light as possible. I will try with less direct light (thanks for the tip)

Regarding the terrain. I like painting something "easier" when I am to tired to paint something small (and harder). We resently got our 3 child so it was nice to just relax and do some drybruching. I wanted to paint it blue and yellow (as i am swedish) and got inspired by this picture (taken from: https://www.games-workshop.com/en-SE/Sector-Mechanicum-Galvanic-Magnavent)

I Just finished my 7ed dragon (just 3 to go now). Base is not done jet

Some of my older stuff
War Walker

I can see how dry brushing might be relaxing after painting somthing smaller and more intricate. I have to say I prefer your colours to those of the magnavent.

Your Dragon, Walker and biker look phenomenal, but I have to say that the standout feature of your older models are their bases. They look superb.

Hallo Gang

I am really excited for the new edition. Then Necrons looks great. I will probably dust off my old 5ed necrons.

New edition means new general! So I started Asurmen

Some old friends for Asurmen to play with

and my seer

Bonus! One of my first paint jobs ever (we all start somewhere)

Everyhting is terrific Blom; I really like the Bike Seer. Really impressive finish and a great centrepiece for your army.

Going back to the terrain; your terrain is comfortably in the running for most impressive terrain I've seen by an amateur hobbyist. It's stunning. I too prefer your work to the piece you used as a template.

Breath taking.

Hello gang

Hope everything is ok with everybody in these trying times.

Thank you all for your kind words. It motivates me to post more:)

Here is some progress on Asurmen

I recently got the opportunity to play some kill team. Here is some fotos before i got my ass handed to me

Here is a picture of one other terrain piece that I have done some years ago. It is a bit darker (I tried to make it "spooky")

Finally here are some photos of my spears and my hunter
