Work done this weekend!

No washes yet on the new stuff, except the terrain piece

Additional layering / blending I can do on the stealth suit weapons, but I don't want to overdo it too quickly and end up messing up what I'm aiming for.

Pro tips, I managed the vast majority of this just blending / mixing / glazing contrast paints together with separate layers both semi-blended or just layered over each other. A combination of washes and drybrushing and the one or two normal base paints I need achieved the rest. Except the torch, that took some time and honestly, a lot of luck and some wisdom I gained from painting the Avatar of Khaine.

Worked on a little more terrain today.

I let this dry overnight, ready to clean up any missed areas, wash the stone again to darken it down more, and then it'll be ready to highlight up.

This is coming along really well.  It has this very foreboding feel to it that you have enhanced really effectively through the choice of colours.

@irisado: Thank you! Yeah I wasn't certain how it would all look together, but I think it's a lot more thematic than I thought it would turn out!

Working on more terrain!

Is that elf straight out of the box? I like her pose, it's very balanced and dramatic. The greens and blues/purples are a good combo.

That's a really great model in that case.  The detail on it is really beautiful.  The colours that you have selected are really well chosen.  I also love the blue, green, and purple/violet combination.

Thank you @irisado! Was definitely inspired by a recent scheme that I've been seeing. Glad you think it turned out well so far!

Hey 40k online,

It's been a while - been a hobby journey for the last couple of years and have learned a lot of lessons.

I've officially sold a lot of armies as I've come full circle after reigniting my passion for all things elven.

Been through a lengthy break from the hobby. I have on the way the humble beginnings of a lumineth force that I aim to take to an annual local tournament next year. And then it is on to rebuilding the glories of the Craftworlds.

I am hoping to have some cool work soon!

I know what you mean. Can't wait to see your army. Funny I was thinking about getting them too. Decided not to go down that rabbit home.

Good to hear from you, Dread - I am hoping to start work on building them soon whenever they come in the mail. Will be putting more care into them this time - so we'll see how it goes.

Got some hobby work done after a few months away from the hobby.
Just base coats, washes, and layering up said base coats so far. More to come on this one!
