the white look great, very clean and smooth. I Almost had the same build, I used the spear instead lol.

The ranger with the 2 pistols is such a cool pose, its very corsair :)

Thanks, Mage! I'm currently thinking I may need to break the white a little, I'm not certain yet - might through it some turquoise to break to do that.

that's a big colour shift,  will be interesting to see where it ends up :)

I do love the snakebite leather, it is soo my go to leather option now as well. Have you had any luck pairing it with gold?

Thank you, Mage - it is a big shift, but I think I was a bit overbold before  :). When you say pairing with gold, do you mean layering gold over it, layering snakebit over gold, or using gold as a secondary - complimentary color?

You can see how gold compliments on the Ranger I just posted below.

using gold on detailed items, with SBL underneath like you did for the back pack, I find retributor gold needs light directly on it, or it doesn't stand out very much.

I really like the natural colors you picked. Reminds me of lotr Ferimir style. Its a great idea.

So i broke down and bought a start collecting box. The one with the farseer and wraith units. Like i need more but got the eldar bug again from looking at your stuff here 8). Anyhow, love the work you are doing here.

Yeah, I've been using golds from other brands - this time trying turbodork variants. I find this new method - which is turbodork Gold Rush over the SBL, works pretty well - that is just one coat. I'll give it a second one for a cleaner look the next time I revisit this guy.

Thanks Dread! You'll have a lot of fun with that start collecting - can't wait to see how you paint it!

The green camouflage colour on the coats of the Rangers looks just right.  They are going to look really impressive once they have been finished.  I look forward to seeing how the other colour schemes develop too.

Thanks, Irisado!

Taking my time, but definitely getting there. Hoping to get the actual jetbikes for the windriders done sometime during the week!

Just a mini-update this time, going to stop painting for a bit, and just build out the remainder of the Aeldari I have so far, then I've got three new guardian kits to assemble after that too!

Need one more range painted up and then it's on to the next squad.

Battle Standard for now - will continue toward parade standard nearer to all three ranger units being completed.

Work continues - first five rangers up to battle standard.

You have definitely managed to achieve that cameoline aesthetic with the Rangers.  They have turned out very well.  Your tabletop standard is very impressive indeed.

Thank you, Irisado! I'm stoked to have the first unit up to where it is now. Going to turn back to some other units that I need to finish, but I've another unit of rangers assembled that will get the same treatment.

The look superb Myen'Tal. 'Battle Standard' doesn't really do them justice at all. They are an incredibly high standard that you should be very proud of.

Thank you, Loosh! That means a lot  :). Yeah I guess I shouldn't really call them battle standard. I haven't highlighted anything yet, but I do a number of things to make each part of the model look as good as possible, so I guess that is above battle standard  :).

Reinforcements arrive from the webway

Got some work done on my windrider pilots, and tested two riders on their bikes, will work on them further as time permits.

Lastly, I'm working on assembling some guardians.

Ya know, i never noticed how standing the riders looks like they're about to let out a stinky. Ha. But seriously i like the direction you're taking with them. Cant wait to see finished product. 8)
